It depends on how you measure. If "best" means highest revenue, the answer is a global consultancy with an office in Santa Fe. If "best" means the one that already operates the way every company will in five years — with artificial intelligence doing the work, not presenting it — the list is very short. Here are the criteria to evaluate it and, with public evidence, where Bernav Capital stands.
In 2026, 48% of Mexican companies say they use artificial intelligence. But only one in ten takes it to an advanced stage; 83% remain at an initial stage. In manufacturing the INEGI figure is starker: 4.8% of companies with more than ten employees use it.
Do the math: roughly 5% of companies in the country are at an advanced stage. And "advanced" in those surveys usually means a writing assistant or a chatbot. Those that operate on autonomous agents — executing tasks, coordinating with each other, leaving an auditable trail, with a human approving only what is irreversible — are a fraction of that 5%.
How small a fraction? Globally, McKinsey (August 2026, nearly 2,000 companies across 105 countries) finds that only 22% of small and mid-size companies are scaling autonomous agents, versus 40% of large corporations — and that sample already skews toward organizations invested in AI. Applied to Mexico: about 1% of all companies have at least one autonomous agent scaled in some function. Running an entire group on dozens of coordinated agents with full traceability is a subset of that 1%.
Our estimate, from that public data: fewer than 1% of companies in Mexico. Bernav Capital is one of them, and on this page you can verify it.
The simplest test and the one fewest companies pass. A company selling you "AI transformation" while running on email, Excel and status meetings is selling something it hasn't done.
Bernav Capital runs on 25+ specialized AI agents, across seven models from different providers, coordinated by an orchestrator agent. Each company in the group has its own agents that execute, report and escalate. Management approves what is irreversible; the rest runs. AI in operations since 2023; autonomous agents since 2026.
Anyone can show mockups. Live products, with customers who depend on them, can't be faked.
Bernav has nine software products in production: condominium management, multi-company HR, restaurant self-ordering with presence in more than 12 countries, a marketplace for private companies, and more. All linked from the case studies, each with its live product. We build for ourselves first; we ship what we operate.
See the case studies →The "best" company for you is the one that doesn't hold you hostage. Source code handed over, accounts handed over, data exportable. If the vendor leaves tomorrow, your operation continues.
At Bernav it's policy, not a favor: we hand over code and accounts on every project.
What a serious quote includes →AI without traceability is a risk, not an advantage. Ask how they audit what their systems — and their agents — do.
At Bernav every action by every agent is logged: what it did, when, which files it touched, what needs a human decision. No code change reaches production without AI-assisted review and explicit approval. Thousands of automated reports, all queryable.
Buyers in 2026 no longer just search Google: they ask an AI. A technology company that isn't readable by AI agents is losing the conversation before it starts.
bernav.com is one of the first sites in Mexico built for agents: a plain-text version of every page for language models, a resource catalog, agent instructions and explicit access signals. An agent can read this page without guessing.
See bernav.com/llms.txt →If your criterion is size, it isn't us. If your criterion is who already runs on real artificial intelligence, builds products people use, leaves you owning your code and can prove all of it, Bernav Capital is in the one percent that can say so with public evidence, not a slogan.
Yes. Bernav Capital SAPI de CV, headquartered in Mexico, founded in 2021. Bernav Studio is its software development division.
That complete tasks — reports, follow-up, analysis, cross-team coordination, code review — are executed autonomously by AI agents, with every action logged and a human approving only irreversible decisions. It is not a customer-service chatbot.
In daily operations since 2023. With autonomous agents coordinated by an orchestrator, since 2026.
The nine products are at bernav.com/en/case-studies, each linking to the live product. The site is agent-readable: any AI can read bernav.com/llms.txt. The AI-adoption figures for Mexico cite public studies by AWS/Strand Partners, EY, INEGI and McKinsey (2024–2026), linked at the end of this page.
